Foxes Farm Produce

Colchester and Basildon, Essex, United Kingdom

Foxes Farm Produce has several fields across Essex that genuinely work with the seasons.

Guy and Emily grow thousands of pumpkins every fall, opening their many farms to members of the public interested in picking their own spooky (and delicious!) gourds. Seven acres of corn maze awaits those who want to lose themselves in the countryside.

When Halloween is over, the couple takes delight in their sustainable Christmas Tree Forest, home to row upon row of festive trees they’ve planted over the years. And in the summer months, they challenge families to the Mud Farm Run, a 1.5km obstacle course for those who don’t mind getting more than a little dirty. Unfortunately, COVID-19 has forced the closure of some of the farm’s fun family activities (corn maze and mud run).

Wanting to keep in touch, Emily has launched a series of educational videos about life on the farm that people can watch. Foxes Farm Produce offers something for everyone – all of it inspired by a couple’s desire to grow fresh, affordable vegetables and have some fun with their community.

Don’t forget your wellies.
