Together, they strive for food justice and equality; nobody should go hungry. Unfortunately, quality produce isn’t always easy to find in a big city, especially not in low-income and minority communities.
Rise & Root Farm educates people at urban farms and community gardens, building a strong local food economy along the way. They believe that anyone can grow their own, and with a few preservation techniques, it is possible to eat locally year-round.
