Rock Steady Farm & Flowers is one of those places you come across that has it all right. LGBTQAI+ owned and operated, the farm believes everyone has the right to nutritious food; food access and social justice are at the heart of its business model. We all belong on this planet, and Rock Steady offers a safe space for people of all races, genders, and sexual preferences to thrive.
The farm acknowledges the urgency of the climate crisis and grows its food and flowers on 12 acres of land following sustainable and regenerative agriculture practices. The produce is distributed through a 450-member sliding-scale CSA, which includes free and subsidized shares thanks to a Food Access Fund. The program ensures that people of all income levels can access flavorful, nutritious food that is harvested fresh daily and doesn’t come with many food miles. Rock Steady Farm & Flowers also works closely with other community organizations striving for equality and practising environmentally sound agriculture.
